Prince Charming does Live Here by Christine Warren

This book is full of hard headed woman and over protective men and it makes for a funny story. Add faeries that aren't from a disney story and you've got a hit.

Yes it is a romance novel but you know I'm getting tired of people dissing romance novels. They can be lots of fun. If you think that because it has improbable sex scenes that it's not still a lot of fun to read than I think you have a limited definition of fun. After all, a good laugh is always fun in my book.

White Night by Jim Butcher

Another great success by Jim Butcher. Dresden is always pulling someone's bum out of the fire. Usually, by putting his own bum in it. I'm so glad that this series isn't stale. I look forward to reading the next one.

The Snow Queen's Shadow by Jim Hines

May contain spoilers from other Jim Hines novels. Beatrice is dying and Snow desperately wants to save her. Perhaps to badly. Bad enough to break her mirrors and cause a whole bunch of problems. Problems that could sink nations not just one castle. She may have left the key to stopping the problems with Daniella and Talia but one problem. That key is in a very difficult to manage form.

The Magnificent 12 - The Call by Michael Grant

This is a fun kids series that I want to read more of. I'm glad I gave it to my friends kid a while back. Yes it's another kid who finds himself with magick he didn't have before. This time no one is there to save the day. He's got to get himself around the world and find the other 11 kids without the evil powers getting him.

Proven Guilty by Jim Butcher

Can Dresden possibly dig himself into any bigger a whole? Apparently, the answer, is yes and I love it. I know I'm a bit behind everyone else but I'm sure I'll catch up with this. I was curious how Butcher was going to trump riding a resurrected dinosaur but horror movie monsters brought to life by fairies to kill people. That one is very good.

Apocalypse Scenario #683 the Box by Mira Grant

I always love the Grant stories and I'm so happy to find more. I can't wait for the third book in the series but I guess I'll just have to do with short stories for now. Zombies are alive (well they exist) and when you die you become one. Now we know why but we can't stop it. No one can stop it all because of well you'll see...

One Salt Sea by Seanan McGuire

I keep reading Seanan McGuire and Jim Butcher. This has resulted in a huge desire to read a date night between Toby Day and Dresden.

I enjoyed this book and I look forward to the next story. I think Toby is very creative and even when the day is magically saved it makes sense in this magical world. I know that sounds a bit weird but you know what I mean. Come on how many times can a character be saved by getting powers they didn't have before bef0re they are no longer the character you fell in love with. I'm still in love with Toby.
