Bray, Libba

Libba Bray is a teen author geared towards girls. She's written two books: A great and terrible beauty and Rebel angels. Set in the 1890's both books star Gemma. Gemma is a unruly girl who speaks her mind and day dreams. Her family is falling apart at the seams since the passing of her mother. She's stuck in a boarding school she hates. To top it all off she discovers the magic of the realms that leads her through adventures beyond her day dreams. These books were great. Unfortunetly I don't think they can cross the gender gap. I'll be watching Libba Bray to see what she thinks up next.
