The main character never wanted to help fight the bad guys but fate doesn't ever seem to actually give her a choice in that one. She decides to go in with her sister and handyman on a house. The idea is to buy it fix it sell it. One problem. It's hunted. The only way to make good on her investment is to solve the mystery. You have a psychic, madman, FBI officer, and police officer. Throw in one millionaire sister and your handy man. It's a set up for funny.
