Vampires are Forever by Lynsay Sands.

Vampires are Forever by Lynsay Sands. Pages 361. Sands has but out another book that only took me one day to read and I smiled threw the entire thing. Now these can be a bit adult so if you're a kid don't read them. This time Thomas (the irresponsible kid of 200 yrs old) is sent to find his missing aunt and instead finds Inez. Since the book after this is already out I feel I can send you all to the store to check out this fun author. It's really a book in two parts as far as I'm concerned.

The Outlaw Demon Wails by Kim Harrison

The Outlaw Demon Wails by Kim Harrison. Pages 455. SciFi. So Halloween is coming up but Rachel might not get to celebrate the biggest holiday this side of the turn. See someone is summoning Al out from jail and letting him go to attack her and her friends or and her family. The holy ground is starting to get crowded and unless Rachel can do something about the demon someone will die. It was a good and surprising twist to the series.

The Watcher by Jeanne Stein

The Watcher by Jeanne Stein. Pages 304. Science Fiction. The is a fun one (although I seem to have skipped book two). The main character is a newly turned (see first book) female vampire. She's also a bounty hunter. I really enjoy seeing her take down bad guys (both paranormal and human) and kicking butt. She also has a major problem. The man she loves doesn't know she's a vampire and taking blood is very erotic. Can she leave him forever so she doesn't break his heart or will it even matter. Her boyfriend is deep under cover and no one has heard from him in a long time. Is he even alive to worry about?

Moon Fever - Anthology

Moon Fever - Anthology. Romance. Pages 374.

Tempting Fate by Susan Sizemore. This was good but not her best work. The heroin is a mortal with the habit of saving the world. The main man is a rock star vampire/vampire hunter. I can't tell you more without giving things away so lets just say it gets hot.

The Darkness Within by Maggie Shayne. Also not her best work but it was a fun twist to an otherwise normal life. The main gal is recently divorced. She doesn't seem to like herself very much and she doesn't seem to think anyone else should either. So she really can't understand why a guy almost half her age really has the hots for her.

Cobwebs over the Moon by Lori Handeland. Her dad is rich but he's self absorbed and has had a lot of kids over the years. So when she finds him dying she is really mad that he's been hiding some huge secrets. So she finds herself flying to Alaska in the middle of the night while running from people trying to murder her.

Crazy for the Cat by Caridad Pineiro. I was really impressed with this author. They're new to the scene as far as I know and I wouldn't mind finding them in some more anthologies. Main female invents new drugs. Her partner is recently dead and she decides to go to the rain forest to learn more about why. What she finds there makes the scientist in her drool and it doesn't hurt the girl either.

The Automatic Detective by A. Lee Martinez

The Automatic Detective by A. Lee Martinez. Science Fiction. Pages 317. This book is a cross between old time science fiction novels and old time mystery novels. It was great to read and fun to imagine. Mack is a bot. He can think for himself, act for himself, doesn't need to eat, and has a hard time interacting with biological's. He does however have a shoft spot for the little girl next door who happens to be psychic. Even though it's completely irrational and against everything he was programed for he must save her when she's kidnapped by an unknown group.

The Accidental Werewolf by Dakota Cassidy

The Accidental Werewolf by Dakota Cassidy. Probably romance but I got it off a table. Pages 326. Marty swears by the color wheel and lives by dreams of color. She's a door to door cosmetics sales person. With every lip gloss and eye shadow she gets closer to her dream of the sky blue convertible. Then she's bitten by a dog in an alley. Or was it a wolf? Suddenly a hot hot guy shows up in her apartment telling her he's very sorry but she's now a werewolf. Of course he's nuts. Way off the rocker. Oh how did that tail get there. Sh*t.

Accidental Vampire by Lynsay Sands

Accidental Vampire by Lynsay Sands. Romance. Sands does it again and manages to make me laugh. I probably took all of a day to read this book. An entire small town goes around trying to protect and find a mate for their beloved vampire. Problem is she's been breaking vampire laws left and right. Or maybe not. Maybe just maybe if things go just right he can get her out of all this mess. If not he just might die without her.

Holy Smokes by Katie MacAlister

Holy Smokes by Katie MacAlister. Romance. Pages 341. Aisling Grey and Drake are trying to get married. I emphasize the trying part. Every time they finally make it to the isle something happens to someone to keep things from happening. From being summoned by the devil and arrested by the cops to bombs going off and being attacked by imps. If anything so bad as this happens to my wedding someone is going to be in big trouble.
