The Modern Fae's Guide to Surviving Humanity - Anthology

Overall this anthology was okay. I liked the stories that were written by my favorite authors, but most of the tales were just okay. I'm not sure I'd buy it again if my copy were to disappear from my shelf.

Discount Armageddon by Seanan McGuire

This book was so fun I bought a copy for my shelf and a copy for my nook. It made me laugh loud enough to make my husband look up from his book. Cryptozoologist by birth and dancer by choice Verity is the coolest new character I've met lately. I hope it sells enough that I get to see this turn into a long and lengthy series.

Turn Coat by Jim Butcher

This is a Dresden novel and it's another slam dunk. I look forward to reading each one of these and it's hard for me to space them out so I don't get burned out on them. It makes me sad to think that one day they'll come to an end but I know it'll be for the better. Until then, Dresden, keep getting into trouble so I can read the tales.

Accidentally Catty #5 by Dakota Cassidy

I was curious how Cassidy was going to keep this series going after running through the group of friends. I was pleasantly surprised at the creation of O.O.P.S. Even though if followed the same formula as the first four it was fun and I look forward to reading a 6th.

Ink Exchange by Melissa Marr

I didn't enjoy this one as much as the first one. I thought that it should have ended a bit earlier then it did. It just didn't drag me in, the way the first one did. However, I'm still going to read the next one. I think it just suffered from second book slump.
