Vampire Diaries - TV - third post

I'm pretty sure I'm going to stop watching this show soon. I watched last nights episode this morning on tivo. It was pretty lame and makes me use words like lame. Worst line ever from a character. I met this boy and it was epic but then the sun came up and reality set it. Who describes meeting someone as epic. Ack like gag me with a fork.

Finger Lickin' Fifteen by Janet Evanovich

Finger Lickin' Fifteen by Janet Evanovich. Mystery. Stephanie Plum series. Yes I know this one isn't paranormal but I love reading Evanovich and you have to mix it up from time to time. This one was fun. Lula and Grandma played a major part in the story line and Ranger and Morrelli are fighting for Stephanie in a new way. Check out this funny laugh a minute story and join in the laughs.

Vampire Diaries - TV

Vampire Diaries on the CW is a lot like 90210 meets vampires good and bad. I'm hopefully going to watch it a few more times and see how it develops but I'm so so on it right now.

Unbound - an anthology

Unbound - an anthology - Science Fiction
Ley Line Drifter by Kim Harrison - Jenks has his first pixie customer and he really wants to fix this kids problems. Kim really did a good job highlighting the strengths of a pixie over the strengths of a full sized person. I look forward to seeing more stories about Jenks.
Reckoning by Jeaniene Frost - Frost did a good job with this short story and I'd be interested in reading more of her stuff. Serial killer ghouls have come to Mardi Gras and they must be stopped. No matter what they must be stopped.
Dark Matters by Vicki Pettersson - I really got the feeling that this is part of another storyline and I'd understand it and maybe get into it more if I'd read more of her stuff. Super heros and Villians exist and they're going to mess with your life to either save it or end it. I thoguht this was the weakest story in the anthology. That said it was a good story and this anothogy is packed with high name authors.
The Dead, the Damned, and the Forgotten by Jocelynn Drake - This author really reminds me of susane sizemores early science fiction work. In fact it was so similar I had to check the author a few times.
A vampire dies and suddenly the enforcer of the area is accused of not doing her job. I have a few of Drake's books in my collection I have yet to read and now I'm moving them up in the reading list. :)
Two Lines by Melissa Marr - I'm interested in reading more from this author. Of course I've been interested in reading more since I met her in Ohio. She's got creatures I've never heard of. Creatures that aren't just renamed but actually have new features. Eavan has been resisting her murderous sexy nature while her grandma works hard to bring it out. I've got four boxes of to be read books really I'm reading as fast as I can.

G.I. Joe - Movie

G.I. Joe - Movie - This was the funniest action flick of 09. If you want to laugh your butt off go see this. From the ice that doesn't float to the Killer arctic tuna I laughed constantly. So did my husband and our friend. You'd think we'd have been disappointed in the film but we haven't laughed that well in a long time and I was happy for the opportunity to go. Of course if you think G.I. Joe should be about fighting and saving America from evil well then you might not want to see this film.

Hunting Ground by Briggs

Hunting Ground by Briggs. Science Fiction/Fantasy. In a world where werewolves, shamans, vampires, and witches might all be out to get you or save you Briggs manages to meld them all together wonderfully. Everyone can be a hero or villain even if you're a submissive. While I really wouldn't want to live in a universe with craziness around all corners I'm happy to read about it and I'll definitely read about it again next time she puts one out.

Where there's a Witch by Alt

Where there's a Witch by Alt. Mystery. Another great book by Alt. She's done is again with her fun characters and their wacky lives. Maggie and her family crack me up. I can't wait for her next one.
