All You Need Is Kill by Hiroshi Sakurazaka

Just finished All You Need Is Kill by Sakurazaka. Sakurazaka is a master of the written word. This story of a young man, young woman, their robots, and allien invaders was amazing. Not normally my thing I'm still glad to have read it. If you like gundums or any of those large japanese robots you'll love this. If you love war books you'll lovd this.

Mermaids Madness by Jim Hines

Mermaids Madness by Jim Hines. Science Fiction/Fantasy. Second book in series. Jim Hines has a way of bringing the old tales to new light. He shows how true stories turn into Myth. He creates female characters that don't wait for their prince before they save the world. I highly recommend this author.

Jim Hines will be at Confusion 2010 January 22-24.

Frostbitten by Kelley Armstrong

Frostbitten by Kelley Armstrong. I love the woman of the otherworld series. In this book we're back to Elena and Clay and their wonderful werewolf wandering. I love the way Kelley Armstrong uses myths and legends to shape her characters and stories. I look forward to the next one. I was worried they'd get stail but so far she's proven that I worry fornot.
