Fearless Fourteen by Janet Evanovich.

Fearless Fourteen by Janet Evanovich. Pages 310. Mystery. Janet Evanovich does it again. Drags me into her world and makes me laugh. I have to say I really needed it too. Seeing Lula trying to go after Tank in her own way made me crack up. Seeing Stephanie Plum running around trying to solve a kidnapping and bank robbing make me laugh even harder. You have to check these books out.

To address something I've heard a lot of people say lately. Janet Evanovich is becoming formula. It's predictable. I have to agree. Things are getting predictable. You know Stephanie is most likely going to get the bad guy. You know Ranger is going to break the laws. You know Morelli isn't going to break the law. But you never know how it's going to happen. It makes you laugh. So what if you know the general story line if you end up rolling on the floor anyway. :)

House of Cards by C.E. Murphy

House of Cards by C.E. Murphy. Pages 408. SciFi. I love this author and find her work very interesting. Grit is an attorney who wants to fight the good fight. Who knew that she would end up leaving her normal world with her fellow human beings and fighting that fight for the supernatural. The power she holds is something that anyone could do. Her will to do it is what makes her so unusual. This is the second book in the negotiator series. I am looking forward to reading the next.

Batman the Dark Knight - Movie

I really enjoyed this batman movie. I think it was the best joker I've seen. I also liked how they didn't feel the need to give you all this back story. I mean we all know about batman and joker. If you didn't know about them you have been hiding under a rock. Plus over the years there have been so many joker creation stories which one would you pick. I'm not going to actually talk about what happens in the movie because I'd hate to ruin it for people who haven't seen it yet. I will say though that my favorite quote of all time is in the movie and it is...

"Insanity is like Gravity. All it takes is one little push."

It really reminds me of my wedding plans lol.

Hellboy 2 the movie

I loved Hellboy 1. Hellboy is a creature who looks like he's from well hell. Red sawed off horns on his big red head and big red body. He's got a girlfriend Liz. She can set things on fire and he's immune to fire. In the first movie she had blue flames and the second she had red flames. I liked the blue ones better. Ab is kind of like the side kick in this whole thing and he's a fish man.

I had fun but bill didn't care for it. He said they took everything one step to far. Jokes went one step to far and dramatic scenes went one step to far. Shrugs I still enjoyed watching it.

Handcock the Movie

This is a story of a drunk and unappreciated super hero. He makes a mess of everything in the place. He tries to help people but he always somehow messes it up. One day he saves someone who does public relations and to pay him back he decides to fix the guy up. Help him out.

I liked the movie. Bill enjoyed himself too.

Real Vampires Get Lucky by Gerry Bartlett

Real Vampires Get Lucky by Gerry Bartlett. Romance. Pages 348. I like this series. It's a lot of fun specially for us full figured gals. Glory runs across a woman who's been attacked by a vampire. She saves the gals life only to be cursed by her presents on the planet. Lucky is the most annoying none evil vampire this series has seen yet. On top of that Lucky does something really annoying that will change Glory's life forever.

Confessions of a werewolf supermodel by Ronda Thompson

Confessions of a werewolf supermodel by Ronda Thompson. If changing into a werewolf when you are threatened turned you into a supermodel would you decide to go furry. I would. Lou (a girl) turned into a werewolf after a young man tried to rape her. She gets all fuzzy and he gets dead. After years of running and hiding from her past (yes her professional modeling career is her idea or hiding) her past is catching up. There are a series of murders where the victim looks a lot like her. The police think that the guy might come after her next. This was good if you're looking for some fluff. If you want something serious try something else.

The Host by Stephenie Meyer

The Host by Stephenie Meyer. Pages 619. SciFi. The world has been taken over by body stealing aliens. Melanie is one of the few people out there still in possession of their own minds. When out on a raid trying to find and help her cousin she is caught. Now she's sharing her mind with the Wanderer. The struggle between the two is addictive. By the end I couldn't decide if I wanted the humans to win any longer. Good thing I didn't have too. I loved it.
