Cry Wolf by Patricia Briggs

Cry Wolf by Patricia Briggs. SciFi. Pages 294. This is the first of the Alpha and Omega novels. There is a short story in another book about these characters however that precedes this. I don't remember which anthology by I did blog about it. Also this is in the same world as the Mercy's series so they kind of over lap a little. Ok now to the storyline. Anna's from a very bad pack that abused her and treated her awefully. She is an omega wolf. She exists outside of pack lines. Charles is an alpha. He's the merlocks son and his wolf loves anna instantly. Of course there are problems. Abused wolf, crazy witches, crazy wolves, etc... you get the point. It was a well written book and I really enjoyed it. Enough to finish it in one day. :)

She's a Witch Girl by Kelly McClymer

She's a Witch Girl by Kelly McClymer. pages 254. Teen Fiction. This is a fun one. It's the third book in the authors series. The main character is a teenage witch who used to live as a mortal. She got moved to the witch world when her brother couldn't or wouldn't control his magic. She went from head cheerleader and straight a student to barely making the team and remedial classes. Now in the third book she's out of remedial classes but just barely. She's practically leading the cheer squad. She's also almost expelled. :)

The Summoning by Kelley Armstrong

The Summoning by Kelley Armstrong. Teen Fiction. Pages 390. Kelley Armstrong writes a series of books in the science fiction section called women of the otherworld. It is a very good series and this is an extension of that series. Chloe is a 15 year old girl from a rich family. Her dad is always away on business and her mother is dead. One day while going to school she sees a ghost/Hallucination and is sedated and taken from the school. Everything goes bizarre from there. The only problem I had with the book is it stops mid story line. I really hope the second half of the book comes out soon. You might want to wait til the second half is released but other then that it's great and I can't wait to read more.

The daughters Grim

The Daughters Grim. This is a romance. It's a stand alone book. I love this authors works. they're based on twisting fairy tales. There are 4 sisters in the Grim family. The family has been through hard times and had no money to pay dowerys on their daughters. They seem doomed to die spinsters. The eldest grim sister decided to take things into her own hands and contacted her aunt in the black forest. It was just a coincidences that the black forest had a large population of paranormal creatures. Right and if you believe that I had some water from property to sell you. The family can only afford to send two of the sisters so the prettiest and the oldest go and have very interesting adventures that I will leave you to read about.

Breaking Dawn by Stephanie Meyer

Breaking Dawn by Stephanie Meyer. Teen fiction. This was a very good book. I loved every moment of it. This is the fourth book in the twilight series. I highly recommend this series. The first one started a bit slow but once it got going I just could not put it down. In the fourth one Edward and Bella are to get married. The vampire counsel knew that Bella knew about vampires and had sentenced her to become one herself or be killed. People could in no way guess what was actually going to happen. I congratulate Stephanie Meyer on her unique story line.
