Jasper Fforde Book Signing

Jasper Fforde is signing in Ann Arbor on Wed January 6th at 7pm. He'll be at the Borders on Lohr Rd. He wrote a book called Shades of Grey. I haven't read anything by him yet but one of our friends likes his work so I am planning on going.

Kim Harrison Book Signing

Kim Harrison is signing in Ann Arbor MI at the Borders on Lohr rd.
The signing is at 7pm but you will probably want to be there real early in the morning to get wrist bracelets so you can get your books signed early and not have to wait in line forever.

Confusion 2010

Confusion 2o10 is happening January 22 - 24. Jim Hines will be there. I'm sure more authors will be there but the site sucks. Usually does they have always been disorganized.

Black Magic Sanction by Kim Harrison

Black Magic Sanction by Kim Harrison. SciFi. I love Kim Harrison's books. This is the latest book in the Rachel Morgan series. She's been having a lot of demon problems and coven problems and guy problems and well you get the point. She has some great friends and family. Someone dies in this book but I'm not telling who. It'll be out on Feb 23rd.

The Princess and the Frog (Movie)

The Princess and the Frog (movie). I really liked this movie. It has a good msg and the music reminded me of little mermaid. I'd watch it again. Specially if I could see it cheaper. 25 dollars for any movie makes me think twice about seeing it twice.

Collean Gleason = Joss Ware

Collean Gleason is writing as Joss Ware for her next series of books. It's a post apocalypse zombie romance book. I want to read it but I do have to say that I would really like authors to pick a name and stick with it.

Hex Marks the Spot by Madelyn Alt

Hex Marks the Spot by Madelyn Alt. Mystery. A Bewitching mystery. This is the latest in the series. It ended really good. I loved the book as a whole but I do have to say it was a bit slow. I'll be happy to read the next one but if it's as slow it might fall off the bottom of the list. Maggie is empathic. She hasn't fully excepted it yet though. Tom is her sometimes boyfriend. He believes in Satan and Evil. Maggie's boss Liss is a witch. She's a great boss. Luc is Omish he's also no longer breathing. Can Tom take Maggie's help without screwing up their relationship and both their lives?

Deadly Desire by Keri Arthur

Deadly Desire by Keri Arthur. Fantasy. A Riley Jenson Guardian Novel. I love this series and look forward to the next book whenever I finish one. Riley is half vampire half werewolf. This gives her a very unique look on the world. Kye is a contract killer. He's involved in the case that Riley is working on because one of his friends lost someone close to them. They clash at every turn. Would fate be so ironic as to pair these two together for possibly forever?

Bill says that this author has been moved to romance but I haven't had a chance to check. There is a fair amount of sex in these books so I wouldn't recommend them to people under the age of 18 or very religious.
