Spellbound by Larry Correia

So now not only do we have Machines and inherent magic but we have spells as well. Some spells are small and some spells aren't. Each spell is difficult and hard earned. The bigger they are the harder they are to earn. I'm a bit sad that there's only one book left.

Trapped by Kevin Hearne

The Iron druid is so completely screwed in this one and it's a wonder he can do what he gets done. Every time I have to turn off the audio book I feel a little sad. Yay, Iron druid.

Hard Magic by Larry Correia

This is a wonderful mix between magic and machines in an alternative history novel that takes you back in time to visit the world during the reign of Roosevelt. These books are completely outside of my usual interest and without my husband downloading them I wouldn't have started reading them but I wait on the edge of my seat for a chance to read more.

Tricked by Kevin Hearne

Time for the Iron druid to relocate but first he has to make himself and his new apprentice disappear. It takes a few gods but it's pulled off and that's just the start. Check out this next book in the iron druid series.

Whispers Underground by Ben Aaronovitch

Whispers Underground by Ben Aaronovitch. Book three of the Rivers of London is just as good as book one and two and if you haven't started these yet you have no idea what you're missing out. If you don't start reading this right now well I don't know how to finish that sentence but it isn't good. Read and learn about the magical pig farm and pottery business in the London area.
