Too Many Curses by A. Lee Martinez

Too Many Curses by A. Lee Martinez. Science Fiction/Fantasy. This author has a way of finding fun new ways to tell old tired stories. Nessy is the keeper of the castle for the evil wizard Margle. Every day might be her last because wizards are crazy and impulsive. But sometimes crazy and impulsive sometimes works in your favor. When Margle is dead and Nessy is left to tend after the evil curses running round the castle she has no idea what is going to happen next. Neither will you.

Death Perception by Victoria Laurie

Death Perception by Victoria Laurie. Mystery. Abby Cooper is always in getting into trouble and this book is no exception. Victoria has a great way of taking trouble and making it fun. I'm always interested in reading more when this author writes something. The next book is already out in this series so if you aren't one to like suspense between books you're golden.

Wait Till Your Vampire Gets Home by Michele Bardsley

Wait Till Your Vampire Gets Home by Michele Bardsley. Romance. These make me laugh and this week I needed to laugh. I took the morning for myself (which didn't work out) and read this book. As if not enough had happened to the poor town of Broken Heart PRIS (a paranormal investigation company) is now in their midst. We had vampires, werewolves, and now Dragons. Check it out and feel your smile grow.

Just Another Judgement Day by Simon Green

Just Another Judgement Day by Simon Green. SciFi/Fantasy. A novel of the nightside. I love this series. Where a detective born from Lilith can save the souls of sinners and punish the unrepentant comes upon an agent of God and finds the man lacking. Simon Green works wonders with words that I am envious of. He has a descriptive power that makes me happy.
