Bring out your Dead by MacAlister. Fun short story about a counselor for the functionally deceased and a dark one. It made me laugh out loud. It makes me eager to read more of her work.

Zombiewood Confidential by Mancusi. A makeup artist and a action star fight off a horde of zombies and a bitchy co-star. It was better then most zombie film stories.

Every Part For You by Cach. Fun loving Marine biologist and stuffy uptight artist meet in a not so stellar first impression. Yet somehow they get to meet again and then vaavaavoom and then not so stellar again. Fortunately the carb zombies intervene and well you'll just have to read it.

The God Engines by John Scalzi

The God Engines by John Scalzi. Science Fiction. Novella. Pages 136. Short print run from subterranean press. There are gods that run the engines and make star ships run and food appear etc... The people believe that their God keeps these other gods from hurting humans. These gods are like horribly behaved toddlers. It's a good story with an abrupt ending.

Dark Slayer by Christine Feehan. Romance. Pages 361. Series - a Carpathian Novel. This series has gone on to long. The plot lines are frequently reused and grow thin. The adult themed scenes in the book are some of the best in the genre. I would love to read more from her but I'd like to see something new and fresh.

Flirt by Laurell K. Hamilton. Science Fiction. Anita Blake Series. Pages 158. Yeah it's a short book but it was good. I read it in 3 hrs today. This one was mostly about Anita actually doing her job which makes me happy. There is only a bit of sex and a lot of bad guys. If you liked her for being a good christian girl you still wont love it but if it just got to pornographic read on cause it's got less sex then most books.

Divine Misdemeanors by Laurel K. Hamilton. Science Fiction. Merry Gentry Series. 333 pages. I enjoy reading this Merry Gentry series. It's full of fun, excitement, danger and sex. Merry is Pregnant with twins from 6 fathers. Yes technically impossible but due to the use of magic it's happened to the faery princess. The Goddess keeps blessing this princess but somehow she keeps getting in trouble. This time they were chasing down a serial killing team recreating pages from fairy tales.

The Renegade Hunter by Lynsay Sands. Romance. Last in the three part Rogue Hunter series. This series is part of the Argeneau Series. I was really happy that I ended up reading these books later then normal because then I didn't have to wait to read the next one. I'm always happy to read Sands books.
