Harry Potter Spoilers don't read if you haven't finished.

So I had 6 predictions for the book and 5 of them came true.

1- He who shall not be named will die. True

2- Snape shall die. True

3- We will only know whether Snape was good or bad after he's dead. True

4- Nevil will play an important role in the destruction of He who shall not be named. True

5- Nevil will die. False

6- Ron and Hermonie will end up together. True.

Semi prediction.

Tonks and Lupine will die. True.

I call this a semi prediction cause I predicted it when they named Harry Godfather. So before they died but after I started the book.

The Unfortunate Miss Fortunes by Jennifer Crusie, Eileen Dreyer, and Anne Stuart.

The Unfortunate Miss Fortunes by Jennifer Crusie, Eileen Dreyer, and Anne Stuart. Pages 391. Romance. Now before you ask this isn't actually an anthology. It's one book written by 3 people. I'm really interested to see how that went. The first part was a bit slow but as you went on it really got interesting and funny. Basically there are three sisters. Each one has a different magical power. When their aunt decides she needs to boost her power she targets the sisters. Luckily she ends up doing them a favor and sends their true loves to find them. Check it out.

Harry Potter #7 by J.K. Rowling.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Pages 759. For everyone. No spoilers just impressions. I loved this book. I love the way things worked out. Yes I have questions but you'll always have questions when a series comes to an end. Supposedly there will be an encyclopedia of Potter that will have a bunch of back stories in it. I also find it interesting that out of 6 predictions I made 5 were right. Unfortunately I can't say what they were cause then well there would be spoilers. Maybe next week when everyone has had a better chance to read it.

Sorry this was late but I was sick on Thursday. Hugs.

Would you rather

Would you have the ability to be invisible, the ability to bring back the dead, or the ability to beat anyone in a fight?

Plus of being invisible. You can sneak up and surprise anyone. You can get away from people that are being mean without being seen. You can do things without anyone knows it was you.

Minus of being invisible. No one knows who did things and sometimes they want to thank you. You can't help people without giving up your invisibility. Sometimes you might want to help someone with something you overheard while you were invisible and you would have to admit you were listening in to help them.

Plus to bringing back the dead. You can be around your friends and loved ones again. You can get important information from them.

Minus of bringing back the dead. They are never quite right. Kind of like zombies.

Plus to being able to beat anyone in a fight. Well duh you can beat anyone.

Minus of being able to beat anyone in a fight. Everyone comes looking for you for a challenge. Can they beat you?

Hunting on a budget

Most books who deal with hunting usually portray it as a pretty expensive hobby that doesn't pay. So really you have to be rich to do it. Like all the toys they use tend to cost a lot and the demons/vampire/witches/were's are always breaking them. Only a few say you don't need all that gear and even they want you to use stuff it just has a different kind of cost. Like steal holy water from your nearby catholic church. Get old furniture from the salvation army and make the legs into stakes. Make sure you keep your car tuned up and get regular oil changes. I'd hate to be running from an angry group of anything and have my car stall. Can't you just imagine the horror of that. So hunting on a budget can be done but you still need to have some form of monetary income to manage it. And just when I thought I'd become bat girl.

Witch Hunt by Shirley Damsgaard

Witch Hunt by Shirley Damsgaard. Pages 292. Mystery. A Ophelia and Abby mystery. This is the third book in the series and I highly recommend it. Murder, mayhem, and all out spookiness. Adder is a biker from the el serpiente. He is no so unfortunately killed. The unfortunate part is that Darci's cousin is charged with the murder. Of course Ophelia has to help her dear friend and partner in crime with her dilemma. To not help her would be unfriendly and just not nice. Check out what has happened and what will happen because Ophelia is definitely nosey. :)

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (no real info given away)

I'm so excited. I can't wait to read the book and find out all the stuff. Being a bookseller doesn't get me the book any earlier then you guys with Harry Potter. Boy that woman is paranoid when it comes to secrets. But we are having the biggest party ever. I've heard rumors of dry ice and fog machines. That would be so cool. I'm getting all dressed up and I think I've finally figured out what I'm doing with my hair. I'm dressing as an adult witch. Just generic I'm to old to be a student and to young to be a professor. I hope that everyone I know makes it to some sort of party since it's going to be great and it's the last one. Have fun.

Balance

I believe very firmly that life is about balance. You have to balance fun and work. You have to balance checkbooks. You just have to balance everything. So One of the things I really like about many of the books I read is when they add in a bit of real life. Like what do you do with your kids when you're kicking demon butt. Every time I read a book I look for reality.

Possibilites look good

I saw a book that I think will be very good. By Stein the first book is called the becoming. I have ordered it for myself and hope to read it soon. I read the first chapter of the second book and it was good.

Good news: My honey got a job and I have a job interview for a manager position on Monday. Wish me luck. :)

California Demon by Kenner / Harry Potter Movie / Eureka TV

First I want to say sorry for last week. We didn't have power for two days. Doesn't that suck. On the bonus I have some extras for you today to make up for it.

California Demon by Kenner. Pages 342. Science Fiction. I really enjoyed this book. She's getting into all kinds of situations that a mom would just hate to get into. Like what do you consider a date for your 14 year old daughter? Is it when they are together with a lot of other kids at a big event? Or only if she's been escorted there by the boy? On top of that she's in all kinds of deep water as a demon hunter. It's a tad bit slower then the first but sequels usually are. Enjoy :).

Harry Potter. This latest movie was great. I enjoyed seeing it and I plan on seeing it again to pick up any of the parts I missed because of screaming teens. I did see it at the midnight viewing. Now it really only covered like 1/4th of the material in the book but I've been saying forever that they need to make more then one movie out of these books.

Eureka the TV show. It's back on tv and it looks like it's going to be as good as ever if not better. It was on during our power outage so we had to watch the first one online. It doesn't look like they're getting much replay time.

Harry Potter

I'm going to see Harry Potter tonight at midnight. I'm so excited. I'm going to wear one of the cool hats I got from working Harry Potter events at work.

However I have a few questions. Why is it that kids can accidentally do magic without wands but adults seem to only be able to do magic with wands? I mean kids seem to just be able to think something (like making their aunt blow up like a balloon and float away. If as an adult you wanna do something without a wand it doesn't seem to really work against others with magic at all and if it works it usually involves a complex chant. If wizards have stuff that makes people tell the truth why don't they use it on all crime suspects to see if they're guilty? At one point Snape says three drops of his and you'll spill your deepest secrets. So drop some on a bad dude and say did you do the crime you are accused of. Or worse have you ever committed a crime you have yet to be punished for. Makes sense to me. It would save a lot of time too.

Evan Almighty

Evan Almighty - The movie. I really enjoyed this movie. One important point. If you don't have kids and you don't wanna spend you're entire movie surrounded by them don't go real early. It may be cheaper but there is a hidden cost. However for 10 dollars is was definitely worth it. I laughed almost throughout the entire thing. Basically God appears to Evan who is a new senator. Right off the bat this one guy is trying to bring him into a bill without the time to do real work on research. It's fishy. God says Evan build an arc. Evans like but I'm a senator not a builder. You get the idea there. Well I'm going to stop because I think I may give away the ending if I keep typing. Just know I say funny.

Harry Potter the movie comes out on the 11th. I'll be at the first showing again.

Transformers the movie

I really enjoyed the Transformers movie. There were witty moments that made me laugh. There were a lot of explosions. Plus the graphics were pretty good. I don't know that I would see it twice but I don't feel bad about paying for it once. So go see it it's good.

Real Vampires Have Curves by Gerry Bartlett.

Real Vampires Have Curves by Gerry Bartlett. Pages 317. Romance. I love this one. It's funny, it's got lots of good girl power, lots of beautiful men who are over protective and no good, and so much more. Talk about learning to kick butt and take names. Main Character, Gloria, owns a vintage clothing shop. She's a vamp who was embraced on a chubby day. The guys still love her though. But she is really determined to be her own woman. Independent gals yay. The second one is out and I can't wait to read that one too. :)

Burning Bridges by Laura Anne Gilman

Burning Bridges by Laura Anne Gilman. Pages 410. This book was very good and very sad. Sergie and Wren are fighting again. You'd think that after what it took to get them together they might be able to hold it together a bit more but nope. Fatae are still being killed and no one can figure out who is doing it. The groups are even working a unsteady truce. I can't wait for the next retriever novel. I just have to know what happens next.
