Born to be Wild by Warren

Born to be Wild by Warren. Romance. Quick read. I enjoyed the play on roles. The main male character is a sheriff were lion. The main female character is a vet. Could a better match be made? The problem is that there is an evil group out there that believes that humans are superior to others. They're trying to wipe all others from the planet using Bio Terrorism.

Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief

Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan. Kids. I look forward to the day I can share this series of books with my own kid. It's lots of fun. Greek Gods are alive and kicking in the modern world. They haven't changed a bit though. Zeus is still crazy, Ares is rage filled, and Haides feels mistreated. Percy is a halfer. His dad is Poseidon. He doesn't deal well with school cause of all the monsters after him. His step dad is a real jerk. The other kids don't get him. The Gods have it out for him. Is it paranoia if everyone really is out to get you?

Red Hood's Revenge by Jim Hines

Red Hood's Revenge by Jim Hines. Scifi/fan. Appropriate for teens. I love this series. Ever wonder what might have happened after the fairy tale ended. Did sleeping beauty really wake up to true loves kiss? Did Cinderella really wear those glass slippers? Could Snow White really survive the poisoned apple? In this book Hines visited what happened in Little Red Riding Hoods story. Fairies can be a sneaky bunch.

The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman

The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman. This is an awesome kids book not only for kids. There are a lot of deep concepts that kids will probably miss and as an adult I know I had a great appreciation for. I'm debating if I should give it to my friends kids. There are some dark concepts as well.
