Once Dead, Twice Shy by Kim Harrison

Once Dead Twice Shy by Kim Harrison. Teen Fiction. Pages 232. This is the first book in the this series however it does actually start with a short story from Prom Nights From Hell. Madison is dead. She hasn't moved on however. She's living between worlds. Fate and choice weigh heavy on Madison's mind and her future. Not only that but her choices might effect the lives of others. This book really picked up at the end and I look forward to the next one.

Dead and Gone by Charlaine Harris

Dead and Gone by Charlaine Harris. SciFi 312 pages. This story made me wish it was longer. It's a sookie stackhouse novel. She is in a new world of hurt in this book. Her life is once again screwed up by the people around her. The were's come out in this book and I kind of wish there was more info about that in there. There were a lot of faeries in this book. I'm always kind of interested in seeing authors write about bad faeries instead of the faery godmother.

The Mammoth book of Paranormal Romance edited by Telep

The Mammoth book of Paranormal Romance edited by Telep. There are 24 short stories and 528 pages long. I had fun reading it and I think It might have brought me out of my reading funk. I am a bit behind but I'll catch up I will. But back to the stories. I really enjoyed reading them and frequently wanted more when I got to the end of the stories. I highly recommend it. I can't think of a story that really sucked or anything like that. Sure some weren't wonderful but not sucking is definitely a good thing.

The signing of Harrison, Armstrong, and Marr

We had a lot of fun wednesday. We drove 3.5 hrs to Dayton, OH. When we got there we met a lot of people that had also drove down from MI. We got everything signed. We got the picture we took of Armstrong signed. We also found a new cool author. Melissa Marr was fun to listen to and I am very interested in reading her books. It looked like the three of them were having a blast talking to people and answering questions. And of course we brought to many books and the people in charge were mad at us for backing up the line.
