Voices of Dragons by Carrie Vaughn

Voices of Dragons by Carrie Vaughn. Teen. First book in what I believe is going to be a series. Pages 309. I loved this book. I found the characters believable even the dragon. The government was believable. Every government seems to try to put one over on it's citizens. I also loved the pacing until the end. It was going along great and then it seemed like rush rush rush shove it all in before I'm out of pages. Lets get this wrapped up people. I'm not positive that wasn't just the nature of the story though. I'll be excited to see the next one to see how they fit together.

Basically Kay accidentally ends up in dragon territory and meets one. They defy all odds and become friends. Government and dragons don't get along. Human government is full of jerks. Bad things happen.

Neighbors from Hell

Neighbors from Hell. Television Show. Channel TBS. I love this show. If you haven't seen it yet you just have to tune in. Hell needs to stop of project that's going too lead humans to find hell. They send some demons to stop it. Those Demons find Humans to be far more evil then demons are. It's hilarious and creative.

Dead in the Family by Charlaine Harris

Dead in the Family by Charlaine Harris. Science Fiction/Fantasy. Pages 320. Sookie Stackhouse leads the most interesting life and I'm pretty sure she'd look at it like the Chinese. After all may you live in interesting times is a curse in China. The story always takes an interesting turn that I hadn't thought of. Keep surprising me Charlaine and I'll keep joining Sookie in her adventures.

BTW true blood is loosely based on these books. :)

Bullet by Laurel K. Hamilton

Bullet by Laurel K. Hamilton. Science Fiction/Fantasy. Pages 356. Can we say X rated. Is there anything beyond X rated? Her last few books were playing more toward the original feel of the series. This one had bipolar disorder. Half was sexy X rated and the other half was vampire hunter Anita. Ok the sex scenes are good and I might miss some of them if they went away completely but can we have a bit more tough girl takes on the world and a little less tough girl sleeps her way to the top? I loved the last book cause it was way better about balancing these two aspects of Anita's personality.

Warehouse 13

Warehouse 13 TV Show. New episode 7/6.

The Reckoning by Kelley Armstrong

The Reckoning by Kelley Armstrong. Pages 391. Young Adult. Set in the same universe as Kelley's adult series this teen series is great and I look forward to the next one. Chloe is a necromancer who is running from bad sorcerers. Chloe and her companions Simon (sorcerer), Tori (half demon), and Derek (werewolf) struggle with her to make sure nothing happens to any of them. There is a moment of deja vu but it didn't damage the story in fact it seemed rather fitting if you think about a real life run away situation.
