Slow Posting

Sorry I'm not posting a lot lately. We're buying a house and that seems to be taking a lot of my time.

I have been playing this little game for like five minutes a day. It rocks and everyone should try it. It's called beat my brute and it's incredibly easy. I think a child could play it.

Jim Butcher Signing after the fact.

We went to the Jim Butcher signing on the 13th. It was a lot of fun and it made me eager to catch up on my reading. You find out a lot about things behind the scenes. Like why Bob is a skull. The first Dresden book was written while Jim Butcher was in a writing class. The teacher looked at him and said not to make the character a floating head. So he made Bob. Of course when he tells the story it's way more funny. He also said he's currently writing the last codex alera book. I'm currently listening to the first one in the series. It's taking a while because my drive time is 10 min long. But I'm working on it. It was a great time for all old and young, big and small. I love me a book signing :)

Death Mask by Jim Butcher

Death Mask by Jim Butcher. Science Fiction. Book Five in the Dresden Series. I love this series. I'm really hoping that the second season of this show gets made. Come on SciFi channel Get With It! In this one Dresden is in over his head as usual. Good thing he is good working under pressure and on his feet. He's running from demons that can think for themselves and trying to find/save the shroud you know jesus's shroud. He's also has his own problems to deal with like the war between vampires and wizards. There are like 12 books out now and according to Jim Butcher there are going to be 20ish books in the series and a apocoliptic thrilogy at the end.

Monsters Vs. Aliens in 3D

Monsters Vs. Aliens in 3D - Movie - Currently in a theater probably near you. Rated G. I really really really loved this movie. I highly recommend it for well everyone young and old. If you're not fond of kids see it at non kid friendly times. Trust me this is not a movie designed for kids they were just able to give it a kid rating. There are references from all the scifi classics that my generation grew up loving plus some from scifi movies more resent. Favorite lines came from the president but I wont quote. Wouldn't want to spoil it for you. :)
